ROGERS — Alene June Knowlton, 75, of Rogers, died Tuesday at a local nursing home. She was born June 5, 1936, in Oregon, the daughter of Floyd and Rose Low.
She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 25 years after moving from North Little Rock, Ark. She enjoyed playing music, going to yard sales, woodworking, making crafts, playing cards and spending quality time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, siblings and one son.
Alene is survived by three sons, Dan Allen and his wife, Ginger, of Sweethome, Ore., Curt Allen of Winchester Bay, Ore., and Ken Daugherty and his wife, Valarie, of Rogers; three daughters, Jenny Allen of Jefferson, Ore., Alberta Hatfield and her husband, Carl, of Avoca, Ark., and Laura Mix and her husband, Bill, of Centerton; one sister, Eloise Kisor of Albany, Ore.; two brothers. Lenny Low and his wife, Linda, of Albany, Ore., and Buddy Low of Grand Ronde, Ore.; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville.
Graveside service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse.
