Mrs. Zula Pearl Grider, age 81, of 301 Shelby Street, Warren, died Wednesday, June 21 at Wagnon Place. She was the wife of Curtis C. Grider. Mrs. Grider was born September 15, 1907 in Bradley County, a daughter of the late Dave Walter Beasley and Francis Forrest Beasley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Martins Chapel United Methodist Church. Other survivors include 1 son, Bruce Grider, Warren; 3 daughters, Eloise Sled and Permalee Ross, both of Warren and Josephine Bowman, Shreveport, La.; 1 brother, Hugh Beasley, Hermitage; 3 sisters, Zelma Mann and Ella Mae Ferguson, both of Hermitage and Obelia Jones, Warren; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 23 at Frazer's Chapel by Rev. Wayman Mann. Janice Sullivan was the organist and Abbie Richardson sang. Burial was in Outlaw Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Hugh Allen Beasley, Bob Henry, Hoyle Mann, W.C. Rawls, Gregg Mann and Lloyd Grider.
