Edythe Louise Asbell, 89, of McGehee, died Friday, December 19, 2008, at McGehee-Desha Hospital in McGehee.
Born November 14, 1919, in Bradley County, she was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Ferguson and Ola Esther Steadman Ferguson.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of McGehee and a retired secretary for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Arvol Paul Stanley who died November 26, 1968 and Wayne Asbell who died June 18, 1976. She is survived by one brother. Funeral services were December 21 at frazer's Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial was in Saline Cemetery near Warren.
