Mrs. Laura Melton Dies at Melbourne
Mrs. Laura B. Melton, 68 of near Melbourne died at her home Monday night following a heart attack. She had been in ill health for several years.
Funeral services were conducted at Pleasant Ridge Church near Oxford and burial was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, J. P. Melton; four sons, S. P. Melton of Mtn. View, Leonard of Kansas City, Marvin of Melbourne and Troy of Mountain Home; one daughter, Mrs. Nora Hendrix of Melbourne; two brothers, William McVey of Oxford and Aaron McVey of Wideman; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Gilbert of Oxford, Mrs. Rose Banning of Salem and Mrs. Ella Fry.
