White River Current, Caliso Rock, Arkansas, December 1, 1977:
Hubert C. McDonald 70 of Brockwell, Ark., died Saturday, November 26, 1977 at a Fulton County, Hospital.
Being the son of John McDonald and Francis (Melton) McDonald, he was a retired farmer and a resident of Izard County all his life.
His survivors include his wife, Grace McDonald of the home; 2 sons, Delmous McDonald of California and Dewain McDonald of Washington; 1 brother, Henry McDonald of Forty-Four, Ark.
Funeral services were held Tuesday November 29, 1977 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brockwell Community Building with Ministers Remmel Rowden and Leroy Porterfield officiating. Burial was at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Oxford, Ark.
Pallbearers were Max Williams, Lonnie Neal, Lowell Melton, Harold Hamley, Norris Grills and Revel Simmons.
Howard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
