Gwendolyn B. Thomson, a resident of Green Forest, AR was born May 12, 1919 in Charleston, AR a daughter of Claude E. and Libby Lela (McFerrian) Thomson. She departed this life February 17, 1996 in Springfield, MO at the age of 76.
Thomson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Green Forest, AR.
She is survived by her son, Robert D. Scott of Milwaukee, WI; one brother, Elbert Thomson of Springfield, MO; one sister, Doris Cole of Muskogee, OK; six nephews, Graden Cole of Muskogee, Jim Cole of Muskogee, Bob Thomson of Green Forest, Jayson Thomson of Branson, MO, Richard Thomson of Kent, WA and Ronnie Thomson of San Diego, CA; seven nieces, Annette Lasley of Springfield, Sue Dutton of Springfield, Carlene Bishop of Green Forest, Wanda Reynolds of Reeds Spring, MO, Carolyn Barnett of Oktaha, OK, Ramona summers of Muskogee and Dolyn Neshke of Seattle, WA; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held February 19, at the Nelson Chapel in Green Forest with Rev. Bill Griffith officiating. Interment was in the Pickens Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
