Travis Andrew Ellis, 23, of Colcord, Oklahoma, died March 5, 2012, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Born January, 24, 1989, in Gravette, Arkansas, he was the son of Larry Dale Ellis and Juanita Louise Brown Ellis. He was a lifetime resident of Colcord, and enjoyed bowling, playing UNO, trains, cars, and the Sonic Drive Inn at Jay. He was involved with the Delaware County Friendship Home and was a member of the Colcord Church of Christ, Colcord.
Survivors include his mom and dad, Larry and Louse Ellis of the home; one brother, Mike Ellis and wife Missy of Colcord; two sisters, Becky Farris and husband Will of Colcord, and Angie Goucher and husband Grant of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two biological sisters, Joneta Dandridge of Stilwell, Oklahoma, and Traci Gideon of Anderson, Missouri; four nephews and five nieces.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Colcord Church of Christ, Colcord, Oklahoma, with Bruce Potter and Steve Stenzel officiating. Burial will follow at Dickson Cemetery, near Cherokee City, Arkansas
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Colcord Church of Christ, P.O. Box 25, Colcord, OK 74338, or the Delaware County Friendship Home, P.O. Box 720, Jay, OK 74346.
