Melbourne Resident Dies in Little Rock
Miss Esther Jane Rector, aged 67 of Melbourne, died at a Little Rock hospital Saturday. Born at Melbourne, she was a life-long resident of Arkansas. She was a school teacher and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three brothers, Joe L. Rector of Atlanta, Ga., Earl Rector of Waurika, Okla., and Ursel Rector of Pine Bluff and two sisters, Miss Sula Rector of Little Rock and Miss Nobia Rector Deming, New Mexico.
Funeral was Monday at the Melbourne Church of Christ, with Ormond Henderson of Little Rock officiating. Burial was at Melbourne.
