He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and died in an accidental Army airplane crash three miles north-east of the northern field of Camp Forrest, Tullahoma, Coffee County, Tennessee.
He was the son of Raymond Floyd and Mamie Fredericka Huber Schwink
