KELLMAN, Susan - With sad and heavy hearts we return to Gravett where we mourn the loss of a dear, loving mother, who departed this life Nov. 3rd, 1894. Born Dec. 1st, 1828. Mother, Susan Kellman, was on her bed of affliction 8 years and 6 months. For a number of years she was not able to turn herself in bed and suffered more pain than death, she bore it patiently. I feel thankful to say that she died in full faith of the resurrection. Her body was buried Sunday at 4:30 p.m. one-fourth mile north of her late residence by the side of her husband, J.W. Kellman, who died April 27,1873, where many kind friends and four children followed her body to the tomb. Prayer by brother B.F. Moore. May our heavenly Father ever watch over W.Q. Johnson and sister Ada, who has watched over that loving mother for the past eight years. Eva Allensworth.
