SPRINGDALE — Vera Lou DeSalvo, 75, of Springdale died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Springdale after a long illness. She was born Dec. 12, 1933, in Springdale to Elmer Wade and Bessie Farrell Kendrick.
Lou was an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lowell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe DeSalvo, and one daughter, Deborah Lynn Wells.
Survivors include her son, Greg Wells and Laura Ring of Springdale; two daughters, Janie Wells and Tracy Foster and husband Mark, all of Springdale; her mother, Bessie Kendrick of Springdale.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 13, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 5 to7 p.m.
