Charley King Dead
The Times was grieved to learn yesterday of the death of a very close friend, Charley King of Wideman who died Wednesday, from Pneumonia.
Mr. King was one of the county’s best citizens and his loss will be felt not only by his immediate family but by the entire community as well.
The Times extends sympathy to the bereaved family in their hour of sorrow.

Death
Charley King of Wideman died early Monday morning of pneumonia. He was a highly respected citizen and was buried by the Masonic Order near Union.

Death
At about five o’clock in the morning on April 22 the Death Angel visited the home of Mrs. Charlie King and took away her husband, Charlie King. he was 42 years of age. He leaves a wife and nine children, one brother, Edgar King of Oklahoma, one half sister, and a host of friends to mourn his departure. Mr King was widely known. He was a mighty good man and had but few enemies, if any. He was converted in early life and united with Baptist Church at Antioch and has lived a consistent Christian. He was laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery April 23 at about 2 o’clock in the afternoon in the presents of a large congregation. Funeral services were conducted by Eld. D. A. Hively. A procession was held by the Masonic fraternity.
