BANKS, Flora A. JONES - Departed this life Feb. 11th, 1896, Mrs. Flora A. Banks, wife of Lafayette Banks, who lives four miles northwest of Pea Ridge, Ark. Deceased was born in McDonald county, Mo. March 11th, 1871. She confessed her faith in Christ and became a member of the church of Christ at the early age of fifteen years and ever lived a devoted christian. She was married to Lafayette Banks in Feb. 1887 and leaves a husband and three small children, a father, several brothers and sisters and a host of friends to mourn her death but we sorrow not as those who have no hope for we know that our loss is her great gain. She died of that dread disease, consumption, she was sick for a long time, but bore her affliction patiently and waited for the end to come. She was a loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by husband and little ones. May God comfort and sustain them in their bereavement. Alice A. Jones.

Died of consumption Feb. 11th, 1896 on Pea Ridge, Mrs. Flora A. Banks (nee Jones), wife of M.L. Banks, Jr. She was married to Mr. Banks at her home in McDonald county, Mo. Feb. 16, 1887. She joined the Christian church in her 15th year and through the remainder of her life exhibited the true christian character. She leaves her husband, three children and a number of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
