May 24, 1932 - April 8, 2002
Willie G. "Buddy" Nichols, age 69, of Ola died Monday, April 8, 2002 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. Mr. Nichols was born May 24, 1932 in Wynnsboro, Texas to the late Ed and Eula Watkins Nichols. He was a retired bricklayer, a member of the bricklayers union and the Nazarene Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Nichols and Robby Nichols; two sisters, Joyce Nichols and Lois Nichols, brother-in-law, Chub Brimm.
Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Marcella Brimm Nichols, three sons and daughters-in-law, Rickie and Linda Nichols of Dale, Oklahoma, Eddie Joe and Syndi Nichols of St. Paul, Minnesota, Dickie and Stacey Nichols of Shawnee, Oklahoma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Rusty Sisk of Charleston, Arkansas, Susan and Kevin Stone of Shawnee. Oklahoma; two brothers, Bill Nichols, Littelfield, Texas, Ray Nichols of Floydada, Texas; two sisters, Lucille Pope and Carolyn both of Floydada, adopted brother, Blocker of Shawnee, Ok., brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Janet Garner and Eldon and Vickie Brimm all of Ola, Sue Rogers of Dardanelle, Deany and Charlie Johnson of Bryants Cove; 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces.
