Obituary for Dollie Edmonston White:
Melbourne – Dollie Edmonston White 82 of Conway died Feb. 14, 1998 in Little Rock. She was born on May 15, 1915 at Russellville, a daughter of the late Thomas and Maud Barnett Ingle. She was a licensed practical nurse at Shelby County Hospital. She married Thomas Edmonston in December, 1930. After his passing, she married Lester E. White in West Memphis on July 13, 1967. She was a member of the Ridgeway First Assembly of God Church in Conway.
She is survived by four daughters, Jean Bruegeman of Conway, Betty Sherrill of Norfork, Nelda Hinson of Wynne and Linda Johnson of Richmond, Va.; one son, Cleon Edmonston of Pineville; one sister Alice Smith; two half-sisters, Madeline Remer and Geneva Remer; one brother, Alex Ingle; one half-brother, Paul Ingle; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, two daughters, one son, one brother and one half-brother.
Services were Feb. 17 at the Roman and Billy Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Tom Sheppard officiating. Burial was in Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Brad Edmonston, Rick Sherrill, David Bailey, Bobby Hinson, Brad Sharp and Kevin Sharp. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Breugeman, Herbert Hinson, Marvis Sherrill, Eddie Edmonston, Bill Hinson, Gerald Hinson, Jason Sharp, Matthew Yates and Michael Bailey.
