Thomas Nathan Jones, age 74, of Sardis, went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 6, 2010. Mr. Jones was born December 9, 1935 in Vilonia, Arkansas.He retired from Wal-Mart in upper management and served in the US Army during the Korean War where he received numerous medals. Mr. Jones was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Naomi Jones and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Roswitha Jones; brother, Jerry Jones and wife Tina; three children, Edwin and wife Debbie, Denise Bodnar and husband Kurt and Jennifer Jones; three step-children, Nadja Gallagher, Carolina Muehlbauer and husband Robert and Steve Droddy and wife Sally; four grandchildren, Alanaha, Logan, Kyle and Kaitlyn; eight step-grandchildren, Alaina and husband Danny, John Allen, Justin, Robyn, Heaven, Ryan, Jeremia and Stevie; one great-grandchild, Helen; cousin, Joe Jones and wife Martha; niece, Becky Fleming and husband Bud; his church family and all his friends he encountered over the years.
