Delmar Lee Strickland was the 3rd of seven children born to the late Christopher C and Elizabeth Nelson Stickland February 22, 1932 in Mt Vernon,Arkansas. He departed this life March 1, 2005 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ar. Mr. Strickland received his education in Mt. Vernon and Conway, Ar. He
was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Marquita Strickland, two grandchildren Malik and Clint Mason, one sister, Elsie Mae Brooks, and one brother, James Strickland. He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Ron Williams and Delmar Strickland II both of Dallas, TX.; Michael Strickland of Little Rock, Ar.; Three brothers Jimmy Strickland, Detroit,MI. Elmer Strickland,Conway,Ar.; Ernest Brooks, Kansas City, KS. Two sisters, Dilcie Donald of
Little Rock, Ar.; Bernice Allen, Conway, Ar. eleven grandchildren and one great-
grandchild and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
