Willie Mae Bedford Flood, 65, of Conway, died Saturday (April 26, 2003) at Conway Regional Medical Center.Born Oct. 4, 1937, in Mount Vernon, a daughter of the late William Titus Bedford and Mattie Lou Alexander-Bedford, she was a retired Kimberly-Clark Corp employee and a member of Mount Gale Baptist Church. She was also assistant clerk of the Women's Missions for Mount Gale and worked with the Faulkner County Health Department's home health and Carelink home health.She was preceded in death by her husband, Avon Flood.
Survivors are two sons, Freddy and Stevey Flood, both of Conway; two daughters, May Morgan and Paula Flood, both of Conway; a brother, Marvin Bedford of Conway; five sisters, Mae Blanks of North Little Rock, Vadell Crenshaw and Marilyn Lindsey, both of Conway, Margaret Crow of Little Rock and Dorothy Price of Jacksonville; and seven grandchildren.
