KRUSE, Mrs. W.H. - The funeral of Mrs. W.H. Kruse was held at the home on West Oak street Saturday afternoon at two o'clock and was conducted by Rev. A.J. Murphy of the M.E. church. Interment was in the Rogers cemetery. Mrs. Kruse was born in New Knoxville, Ohio March 9, 1839 and was married to W.H. Kruse, who survives her, in 1856. To this union was born 8 children, all of whom are now living and are as follows: Will Kruse and Mrs. Huber, Minneapolis; Henry Kruse, Vinton, Ia.; Mrs. L.E. Scriber, Mrs. L.M. Proctor, Mrs. M.V. Deason, Ed Kruse and Miss Jessie Kruse, all of Rogers. All were here for the funeral. The family moved from Ohio to LeSueur, Minnesota in 1861 and came to Rogers in 1887. Mrs. Kruse was for many years one of the best known members of the M.E. church and an active worker but she had been confined to her home for quite a long time by rheumatism. She was a kind and loving wife, mother and neighbor and had many friends in the community.
