TOM OVERTON
Tom Overton, 66, Tontitown, died Aug. 20 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 12, 1910, in Sonora, he was the son of James Riley And Maude Bragg Overton, and was a truck driver.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Overton, St. Charles, Iowa, and John Robert Overton, Des Moines, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Shelton, Lowell, and Mrs. Margaret Zmuidins, Seattle, Wash.; one brother, Riley Overton, Springdale; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Leslie, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Oval Whittle, Springdale; four stepbrothers, Don Harp, Frando Harp and Burn Harp, all of Springdale, and Jess Harp, Fayetteville; three stepsisters, Mrs. Blanche Sisemore, Mrs. Carol Sherry and Mrs. Earl Clark, all of Springdale; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Nelson's Funeral Home, with Rev. Glen Barns officiating. Burial will be in Joyce Cemetery under direction of Nelson's.
Pallbearers will be Roy Lee, G. T. Leslie, Ralph Pendergraft, Vernon Sutton, Nolon McCamey and Kenneth Counts. Honorary pallbearers will be Loren Pendergraft and
Fred Hinds.
