Obituary for Willa Rhea Fleming Rowden:

Willa Rhea Fleming Rowden, daughter of the late John Hubert Fleming and Amanda Blevins Fleming, was born May 21, 1921. She departed this life on November 24, 2008 in Salem, Arkansas at the age of 87 years, 6 months and 3 days. She was united in marriage to Noble Spencer Rowden on June 11, 1942 in Melbourne, Arkansas. She spent her life as a wife, mother and grandmother.

During her working years, she and Noble operated the general merchandise store and she worked part time at the post office in Oxford. She was a member of the Oxford Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by one daugther and son-in-law: Willetta and Glen Everett of Oxford; three grandchildren: Randy and wife, Loyanna of Cabot, Leah Foster and husband Andy of Oxford and Glendon Everett and wife Mandy of Oxford; five great-grandchildren: Anna Everett, Emma Everett, Amanda Hutchins, Drew Foster and Case Everett; one brother-in-law: Harold (Jack) Rowden of Salem and many other relatives and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Hubert and Amanda C. Blevins Fleming, her husband, Noble S. Rowden; one sister: Hazel Lauvon Rowden and two brothers: Remmel Blevins Fleming and Carrol Fleming.
