Alvin Ray Watson of Rt. 3, Hampton, aged 83, died August 25, 1984. He was born February 9, 1901 at Tinsman, Ar., son of Levi Watson and wife Sara Margaret Patton. He is survived by wife, Martha Miles Watson of Hampton and two sons, H. A. "Buddy" Watson and Randall Watson, both of Calhoun County, by two daughters, Alleene Fugate of California and Martha Rae Bowen of Hampton, by one sister, Mrs. Birdie Johnston of Hampton, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was buried in Watson Cemetery, near Tinsman, Ar. (Fordyce News Advocate - Fordyce, Arkansas)
