Kenneth Ray Privett, 67
CINCINNATI -- Kenneth Ray Privett, 67, died Thursday, April 23.
A graduate of Arkansas State University with a bachelor's degree, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1963-69. He retired from John Deere Co. after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Cleophas; sisters, Mary Alice and Lavonda Rose Privett; granddaughter, Caroline Elizabeth Anderson; nephew, Robert James Privett; and a brother-in-law, Charles Junior Harper.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Haynes Privett of Hoxie; daughters, Alescia Glossner of Liberty Township, Ohio, Kendra Anderson of Columbus, Ind., and Michelle Cruise of Indianapolis; sisters, Margaret Tarry of Paragould, Catherine Bookout of West Memphis and Pam Penn of Pocahontas; brothers, Nolan Privett of Memphis, Jerry Privett of White Oak, N.C., Gene Privett and Joe Privett, both of Hoxie, Paul Privett and Terry Privett, both of Black Rock, James Privett of Brentwood, Tenn., and Johnny Privett of Bono; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Boyd Hosman officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroad Cemetery near Portia.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be Danny Harper, David Harper, Wesley Bookout, Michael Privett, Mark Privett, Jeremy Privett, Jonathan Privett, Zachary Kincaid and Jason Privett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nolan Privett, Jerry Privett, Gene Privett, Paul Privett, Terry Privett, James Privett, Johnny Privett and Joe Privett.
