Mrs. Moss Dies at Oxford Tuesday
Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Moss of Oxford died in the Izard County Hospital at Melbourne, last Tuesday, January 27 at the age of 79. She was the widow of the late William Moss of Oxford.
Mrs. Moss was born in Atlanta, Ga., and moved to Arkansas during early life. She married Mr. Moss at Oxford in 1897.
Surviving are two sons, Ewell Moss of Pratt, Kansas, and Arley Moss of Oxford; three daughters, Mrs. Verda Burns of Anderson, Ind., Mrs. Mary Hays of Wynnewood, Kansas and Mrs. Hazel Turner of Wheeling, Ark.; one brother, Muncy Ferguson of Oxford; a sister, Mrs. Emma Cargill of Cushing, Okla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted in the Oxford Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Hugh Cooper of Harrison. Burial was at Oxford.
