MARION HAMPTON

..Marion Hampton, 65, Rt. 4, Fayetteville, died April 1 in his home. Born Dec. 25, 1912, at Winslow, he was the son of Garfield and Cynthia Henson Hampton. He was a retired Boeing Aircraft mechanic who moved to the Fayetteville area three years ago from Washington state.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dora Mae Jones Hampton of the home; four sons, Otis Hampton of Wenatchee, Wash., Glen Hampton of Atlanta, Ga., Dan Hampton of Billings, Mont., and Ted Hampton of Moses Lake, Wash.; four daughters, Mrs. Lois Ball of Fayetteville, Mrs. Charlene Sokolowski of Puyallup, Wash., Mrs. Iva Harris and Mrs. Velda Carter of Tacoma. Wash.; two brothers, Alvis and Arlis Hampton of Winslow; five sisters, Mrs. Esther Jones of Ozark, Mrs. Geneva Thomas of Fresno, Calif., Mrs. Elsie Easter of Albany, Ore., Mrs. Jewell Reed and Mrs. Lorene Foster of Coquille, Ore.; 31 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in United Pentecostal Church, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Ray S. Hassell officiating. Burial will be in Miller's Chapel Cemetery near Winslow under the direction of Moore's Chapel.

Pallbearers, all nephews, will be Ronnie, Garry, Joseph, Paul, Nathaniel and Samuel Hampton.
