Daughter of Watson Grimmett & Sarah Ann Hammond Grimmett.
Married Perry Stanford Cooper, December 16, 1897, Izard County, Arkansas.

Mrs. Jennie Cooper Dies After Long Illness

Mrs. Jennie Cooper, aged 77 wife of the late Perry Cooper, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harvey Andruss near Rogers, Thursday, October 7, following a long illness.

Mrs. Cooper was born at Newburg and the greater part of her life was spent in that vicinity. She had lived in Benton County about four and a half years.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and lived a faithful member until called by death.

Survivors besides Mrs. Andruss, include a daughter, Mrs. A. R. Johnson of Houston, Texas; one step-daughter, Mrs. S. E. Pinkston of Tuckerman, Ark.; five sons, W. Troy and W. H. Cooper of Rogers, Rosco of Forty-Four, Shelby of Pine Bluff and Clarence of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister and one brother; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at the Methodist Church at Oxford, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock with the Rev. Stanley Cooper and G. W. Howard officiating. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery with the Hall Funeral Service in charge.
