A.A. WELRORN

Arthur Atchley Welborn, 76, Rogers, died Jan. 22 at his home. Born June 15, 1899, in Nashville, Tenn., he was a retired retail merchant and a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers. He was reared in Lawton, Okla., employed in Fayetteville for several years and moved to Rogers in 1936 to open the Cy Carney Furniture and Appliance Co.

Survivors include three sons, Henry Arthur Welborn, Rogers, Thomas Atchley Welborn, Fayetteville, and Jesse Pearl Welborn, Garden Grove, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Edna Bell Threet, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Mrs. Betty Lou Deen, Springdale, Mrs. Berna Dell Clark, York, Neb, and Mrs. Ollie Lee Andrews, Enterprise, Ala.; two brothers, Jim Welborn and Howard Welborn, Lawton, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Lee Cunningham, Elgin, Okla., Mrs. Elizabeth Hankins, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Louis Burch, Lawton, Okla.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Rogers, with the Rev. Ben J. Rowell officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Rogers. Visiting, hours will be Sunday, 6-9 p.m., in Burns Chapel.
