Services Held For Citizen Of Oxford

Funeral services were held Sunday July 13, for William Franklin Taylor aged 82. Services were conducted by Rev. Remmell Rowden. Burial was in Oxford Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor was a life-long resident of Izard County. He was a retired farmer and had been a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

His wife, Mrs. Mary Taylor preceded him in death by eight years.

Surviving are five sons, Ben, Olen, Jim, Bill and John Taylor all of Oxford; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Walker of Rogers, and one brother, Steve W. Taylor of Oxford; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
