Daughter of William Thomas Dailey & Lucille Eleanor Hardin Dailey.

Emmaline Hinds of Oxford, daughter of the late William Thomas and Lucille Eleanor Hardin Dailey was born March 14, 1940 in Birmingham, Alabama. She died September 23, 2000 in Salem. She was 60.
Mrs. Hinds spent her working years as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and dearly loved the Lord.
Survivors include John Wesley Hinds of Oxford; one son Benjamin Hinds of Oxford; three daughters, Teresa Strickland and husband James of Myrtle, Missouri; Daphne Taylor and fiancé, Jeff Lacy of Toledo, Okio; and Helen Wolverton and fiancé, Lawrence Savell of Oxford; one brother, Jim Dailey of Flint, Michigan; one sister, Betty Wurst of Oxford; three grandchildren, Jessica Boverhof and husband, James; Rebecca Taylor and JoAnna Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Boverhof and Kailee Boverhof; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Robert Wolverton; one son Raymond Wolverton and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held September 26, 2000 at Barker Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers were James Strickland, Lawrence Savell, James Boverhof, Jeff Lacy, Robert Wurst and Terry Dailey.
Interment was in Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
