She was married to Ulysses Simpson Garner at Oxford, Arkansas June 14, 1891. Mr. Garner preceded her in death some four months ago, having passed away July 5, 1958.

Since her husband’s death, Mrs Garner had resided with a daughter, Mrs. Verl Walker at Crossville, Ill.

She was a loyal and congenial companion of the home, a loving and devoted mother and a true and faithful friend; one who created enduring friendship with all those whom she came in contact. The majestic memory of her life influence will live on in the hearts of her children and also in the hearts of her many friends.

The magnificent array of flowers, together with the huge crowd of friends and neighbors attending the services bespoke the love and esteem which she so rightly merited.

Following the services at the church, burial was made in the Oxford Cemetery by the White River Burial Service of Batesville. Casket bearers were grandsons of the deceased, namely, Don Guthrie, Jack Garner, Lamar Kerr, Garner Stroud, Romaine Stroud and Morris Walker.
