Life-Long Oxford Resident Dies Sat
Henry M. Ferguson, aged 72, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. G. E. Bone last Saturday following a long illness.
Mr. Ferguson was the son of Fletcher Ferguson. He was born in Georgia moving to Oxford when he was about nine years old. He resided in that community for 63 years. He was a successful farmer and stockman. Mr. Ferguson was a member of the Oxford Methodist Church.
He is survived by one son, Coy D. Ferguson of Oxford and one daughter, Mrs. Bone of Oxford, one brother, Muncy S. Ferguson of Little Rock, two sisters, Mrs. Emma Cargill of Cushing, Okla. and Mrs. Ida J. Moss of Oxford and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Oxford Methodist Church with Rev Y. D. Whitehurst conducting, Higginbotham Funeral Home was in charge.

Oxford Citizen Dies at Age of 72
Henry W. Ferguson, 72 of Oxford dies at that place last Saturday following a long illness. A native of Georgia, he had been a resident of Oxford 63 years.
Surviving are one son, Coy Ferguson of Oxford and one daughter, Mrs. G. E. Bone of Oxford; one brother, Muncy Ferguson of Little Rock and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Cargill of Gushing, Okla., and Mrs. Ida J. Moss of Oxford.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church at Oxford, Sunday.
