Joe Zaremba, 91, of Batesville died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998,in a local nursing home.
Born Feb. 14, 1907, in Zabensz, Poland, he was the son of the late Peter and Ruzalia Rhaaholska Zaremba. He was a veteran of the Russian Navey and member of St. Mary's Catholic Church for 47 years.
Survivors include his wife, Klawdia Zaremba of Batesville; two daughters, Anna Barber of Batesville and Joanna Z. Hibray of Pine Bluff; three grandchildren Brenda Barber of Paragould, B. L. Barber and Brian Barber, both of Batesville; two great grandchildren, Jordain Barber and Justin Wester, both of Batesville. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Annya Zaremba.
