ROUSE, Susie - Miss Susie Rouse, the sixteen-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Rouse who reside two miles northwest of Rogers, died yesterday morning at Bentonville at ten o'clock. Death was the result of an operation for appendicitis, performed last Friday. She lost considerable blood during the operation which made her weak and then complications set in and caused her death. She died at the home of Mrs. Willie Peel. The funeral will be held this afternoon at three o'clock at the Baptist church and will be conducted by Rev. S.L. Holloway of Bentonville. Rogers Academy has dismissed for the afternoon that the pupils may attend the funeral. Miss Rouse has attended the Academy for four years and was one of the Elizabeth Hall girls most of that time. Her death is a sad surprise to all of her schoolmates and friends, many of whom did not know that she was in a serious condition. The family have the sympathy of the entire community.

Yot and Lawrence Rouse, who had been called home to attend the funeral of their sister, Miss Susie, returned last night to St. Louis.
