Noel M. McGee, 89, of Batesville died Thursday, March 8, 2001, at a local hospital. Born Nov. 25, 1911, in Roosevelt, Okla., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert McGee. He was a poultry farmer and lumberman. He was a member of Hutchinson Mountain Church of Christ and a member of the Independence County Election Committee.
Survivors include two brothers, Ernie McGee of Greenville, Texas,and John McGee of Wasqual, Wash.; a sister, Dollie Clark of Vancouver, Wash.; a grandaughter Tina Hutson; and two great grandchildren, Devin Lee Hutson and Ladesta Nicole Hutson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Addie McGee; and a son Bert Lee McGee.

Pallbearers were Robert Thomas, Johnny Ray Thomas, Max Bishop, Billy Lambert, Devin Hutson and Michael Lambert.
