Hutchinson Mountain—Edna Lucinda Lawson, 94, of Hutchinson Mountain died Friday, Aug. 21, 2009.
Born May 21, 1915, in Batesville, she was the daughter of David Perry Strother and Lucinda Jane Barber Strother.
She was a homemaker and was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include four daughters, Jane Deborah Arecco of Aurora, Colo., Betty O'Brien of Mio, Mich., Jaunita Jones of Waterford, Mich., and Emily Smoke of Arden, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, Monique Lucille Bowers, Angela Jane Grisez, Katherine Louise Arecco, Crystal Arecco, Peggy Sue O'Brien, Vince O'Brien, Danny O'Brien, Arletha Fahnanstiel, Brian Eubank, Terri Davis, James Smoke and Angela Smoke; 14 great-grandchildren , Derek Gregory, Jeremy Grizez, Connie Grisez, Jordan Zelanzquez, Joshua Zelasquez, Jordan Adams, Cole Mortellaro, Kevin O'Brien, Allen Davis, Michelle Davis, Brandi Davis, Broden Smoke, Tristin Smoke and Skyler Smoke; and a great-great-grandchild, Dino Grisez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Shenna Sayre; three brothers, Albert Davis Strother, Edgar Strother and Troy Strother; and four sisters, Lulu Branscum, Iva Morgan, Eva Martin and Margaret Vaughn.
