Mrs. Lavina Knowles
Mrs. Lavina Knowles, aged 88 died at her home at Oxford Saturday afternoon. She was a native of Izard County, having been born at Newburg and had lived in the county her entire life. She was a Methodist. Surviving are a son Tom Knowles of Oklahoma and a daughter Miss Elizabeth Knowles of Oxford.
[Note: The obituary incorrectly has the surname spelled Knowles. The correct spelling is Noles.]
