John Earl Harris, 73, of Batesville died Sunday in a local hospital.
Born in Hutchinson, he was the son of Earl and Nancy Brumley Harris. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include eight sons, Steve Davis, Ricky Harris, Michael Harris, all of Batesville, Ronnie Harris and Don Harris, both of Lufkin, Texas, John Harris of Southside, James Harris of Spring Mill and Scotty Harris of Sandtown; a daughter, Lisa Easter of Southside; a brother, Lawrence Harris of Southside; four sisters, Monnie Strother of Batesville, Hester Muns of Salado, Nina Candler of Southside and Lorene Burrow of North Little Rock; and 20 grandchildren.
