Rites Tuesday For
J. Millard McFall
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Burnt schoolhouse for J. Millard McFall, age 75, of Norfork Star route. Bro. Franklin Richison officated.
Mr. McFall, a well-known resident of south Baxter county, died Monday at his home.
He was born in Virginia on April 6, 1883, and was the son of the late Rube McFall and Mrs. Ann Whitaker McFall, natives of Virginia.
He moved to Baxter county in 1917 and had been engaged in farming before his retirement.
Mr. McFall was married 50 years ago, and his wife preceded him in death in 1942.
Survivors include five sons, Elmer, Leland, Espen, Foster and Creed McFall; two daugthers Fern and Joyce; 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Interment was in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery. Roller Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
(Note: On his draft registration James says his birthdate is April 7, 1884.)
