FARMINGTON — Mary Lee Fritz, 69. of Farmington passed away March 7, 2011, at Washington Regional Medical Center.

She was born Apri1 14, 1941, in Boston. Ark., to the late Ida Mae Lewis and Oscar Oren Spears.

She retired from Farmington School District after 32 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and sewing.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Hershel Spears; and two sisters, Dorolis Hutchens and Lou Morais.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years. Bob E. Fritz; one son, Denzelle Fritz and his wife, Katie, of Durham; one daughter, Yevon Prater and husband, Butch, of Hog Eye; and siblings, Marie Lackey, Roberta Johnson, Paul Kilpatrick, Lena Rose, Wilma Simmons and Linda Smith. She is also survived by granddaughter, Natalie Prater; grandson, Titus Prater and his wife, Kyla; and one great-grandson, Kason Monroe Prater.

Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. today. March 8, 2011, at Moore's Chapel Funeral Home.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Moore's Chapel. Burial will follow at Strain Cemetery, near Elkins.

Pallbearers will be Brett Taylor, Titus Prater, Doug Swaffard, Charles Hutchens, Larry Morris, and Shane Mocias. Honorary pallbearers will be Wiley Vaughn, Paul Kilpatrick and Robert Lackey.
