MRS. ESTHER BALES
Mrs. Esther Miler Bales, 72, Rogers, died at her home Jan. 16. Born Sept. 2, 1902, in Rogers, she was the daughter of John Byron and Effie Camden Miler and a member of Central United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Bales of the home; one son, Walter Bales, serving with the U.S. Air Force in the Philippine Islands; two brothers, Charles Miler and John Miler, Rogers; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Callison Chapel with the Rev. Tom Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Callison.
