Allen Winchester, the 11-year-old son of Mrs. Winchester, who lives in the southeast part of town, died very suddenly Saturday morning. Heart trouble, the result of a severe sickness last summer, was the cause of his death. He had been working that morning and as he came into the house, dropped dead without warning. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at two o'clock and were conducted by Rev. J.F. E. Bates of the M.E. church, south. A large number of the young schoolmates of the boy were among those in attendance. The sudden death was a great shock to the friends and associates of the little fellow and his untimely death is regretted by all.
