Obituary
Juanita McClain, age 89, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011. She was the daughter of Arthur and Vernie Gillis of Palestine, Arkansas. Mrs. McClain was retired from Arkansas Face Veneer Company and a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed volunteering at Saline Memorial Hospital for several years. Mrs. McClain was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.E. (Red) McClain; sister, Maxine Beckham and a brother, Eugene Gillis. She is survived by two sons, James McClain and wife Evelyn of Romance and Tommy McClain and wife Sue of Benton; grandchildren, Greg, Jimmy, Mark and Matt McClain, Susan Hall, Terri Lynch and Todd Jacobs; sixteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Lee Cemetery.
