J. D. "Heavy" Goodman, 53, of 1358 Gray Ave. died Sunday in a Searcy hospital. Born in Independence County, he was a short order cook.
There are no immediate survivors.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hutchinson Mountain Church of Christ with Dean Fugett officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery with arrangements by the Crouch Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Dale Finster, James Varnell, Thurman Lee, Jack Millspaugh, J. L. Dozier, Billy John Adams, Richard St. Clair and LeRoy Halstead.
