*Obituary Bertha Lee Elumbaugh, 70, of Batesville died Monday in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and of the Missionary Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ray Elumbaugh, and a daughter, Rose Lee Elumbaugh.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Elumbaugh; six sons, Arthur Elumbaugh of San Augustine, Texas, Jim Elumbaugh of Mountain Home, R. B. Elumbaugh of Carthage, Texas, Chester Elumbaugh of Altanta, Ga., Mae Harris of Batesville, Joyce Bush of Lufkin, Texas, Lois Tate of Lonoke and Fay Branscum of Portland, Texas; two brothers, R. C. McClurg and Wallace McClurg, both of Chicago; three sisters, Pauline Dedman and Lucille Gilbert, both of Chicago, and Myrtle Worthy of Marked Tree; 33 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Hutchison Cemetery under the direction of the Davies Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Donnie Branscum, Steve Morgan, Larry Fryman, Gale Thomas, Donnie Apple and Chester Tate.
