The White River Current Calico Rock, Arkansas February 25, 1997
Carl Lynn Conklin, son of John and Betty Hagan Conklin, was born February 23, 1980 in Pineville, Louisiana. He died February 17, 1997. He was 16.
Survivors include his parents of the home; two sisters, Mary Steele of Violet Hill and Virginia Post of Dolph; two nieces, Rebecca Steele of Violet Hill and Tiffany Sanders of Dolph.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother.
Funeral services were held February 19, 1997, at the Roman and Billy Howard Chapel in Melbourne with Brother Mike Downing officiating. Pallbearers were Merkel Steele, Dale Post, Larry Hagan and George Tunnicliff. Interment was at Trimble Campground in Dolph under the direction of the Eddie Howard Funeral Home in Melbourne.
