Ida was born January 20, 1900 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. she was the daughter of John & Lucy Shadduck Wynn. She moved to Arkansas in the early 30s and married Clarence L Crosby of Heber Springs AR. They later moved to Izard County and remained there until she died at the age of 85. She was the mother of 3 sons, Richard Crosby, Raymond Crosby and Jerry Crosby. She had 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Ida passed away September 27, 1985 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Funeral services were held September 30,1985 at the Howard Chapel in Melbourne Arkansas. Bro. Ralph Almond and Bro. Jesse McDaniel officiated. Pall bearers were Lloyd Hargis, Bill Wayne Bates, Paul Weaver, Jim Stapleton, Hardy Garrison and Remmel Williams. She was laid to rest in the Melbourne Cemetery with Howard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
