27 Nov 1886 Harrison News lists William as "one of Boone's oldest and most respected citizens"
William married Emily Adaline before 1833. The 1850 and 1860 censuses show them in Carroll Co AR with 10 children. In 1870 they are in Boone Co and in 1880 William is a widower living with his daughter Martha. His father was born in Virginia and his mother in South Carolina. His stone is on row 10.
