Danny Dewayne Phelps, Sr, 59, of Conway passed away Saturday, November 24, 2007. Born in Conway, on December 10, 1947; he was a son to the late John Elbert Phelps; he was also preceded in death by his wife of twenty-one years; Deborah Ann Phelps.
He was an Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was also an avid biker and Harley Davidson enthusiast.
Survivors include his mother; Catherine Phelps of Greenbrier; a brother Tim Phelps of Greenbrier; six children, Darrell Hawkins II of Conway, Marina Phelps of Conway, Danny Phelps, Jr. of Conway, Julie Prince of Fairbanks, Alaska, Vanessa Alkire of Mabelvale, and Amystica Phelps of Conway; and seventeen grandchildren.
