Linnie Jo Coran, 77, of Conway, passed away September 9, 2011. She was born October 9, 1933, in Hollis, Oklahoma, to the late Will and Iva (Jolly) Carter. She was a member of Troutman Chapel, in Mayflower, for 18 years. She was a devoted Christian whose greatest desire was to see all of her loved ones come to know the Lord. Linnie Jo was a kind and generous woman who was always there to lend a helping hand.
Linnie Jo is survived by two daughters, Mary Lee Brewster (Billy) and Debbie Lynn Mullins (Doug); one sister, Lavada Dockins; two brothers, Tobe Carter and Skinny Carter; seven grandchildren, April, Tania, Joseph, Joshua, Andrea, Callie and Eric; and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Forest Coran; five brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2011, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Linnie Jo's funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2011, in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, with Bro. Keith Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in Mayflower Cemetery.
