Stephen Bruce Brown, 49 of Mayflower, passed away on September 30, 2008. Born on July 30, 1959, in Morrilton, he was the son of Jack & Joy Ann Trafford Brown of Mayflower. Steve worked for Southern Star Concrete & had worked for the Arkansas Highway Department. He was a loving son, father & grandfather & was a member of First Baptist Church in Mayflower. Steve loved to go fishing & hunting & be with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ernest & Clydia Trafford & Cecil ( Edith Brown.
Survivors include his parents two daughters: Leah Mahnken (Adam) of Vilonia & Jaclyn Brown of Mayflower, two grandchildren Allison & Spencer Mahnken, three brothers: Terry (Theresa), Jeffrey & Tracy Brown all of Mayflower; aunts, uncles, six nephews, Chad (Brandi) Brown, Brandon (Amanda) Brown, Toby Brown, Tanner Brown, Dakota Brown all of Mayflower & Airman Dustin Brown of Fayetteville, NC; one niece Jordan Brown & one great-niece Ella Kate Brown & a host of friends.
